Q: What am I paying for?
A: Butler services (please refer to our service page for details of our coverage). This modern day butler experience is powered by a combination of three pillars. Firstly, our actual in-house trained butler staff that will run your home errands. Secondly, an in-house concierge team to coordinate your home needs and requests. Thirdly, a proprietary technology to deliver the best client experience.
Q: Who are the butler?
A: Our butler staffs are a team of dedicated home management experts from Hong Kong. They are certified homemakers who have at least 3 years of homemaking experiences and are ready to serve you. They are also in-house hired, trained, insured and bind with a non-disclosure agreement so rest assured your home is in good hands with us.
Q: Is your service available anywhere in Hong Kong?
A: We currently only cover Hong Kong Island and parts of Kowloon. We are working hard to bring our services to the rest of the city!
Q: How does it work and where do I make bookings?
A: Butler primarily runs on a subscription model. You have the option to pay by the hour or subscribe to our monthly plans. By subscribing to our monthly plans, you will be entitled to a certain amount (subject to which plan you joined) of butler service hours (‘butler hours”) for booking. The usage of butler hours are flexible and could be used in any way within the month (such as make repeated weekly bookings or book as you need).
You can easily manage your bookings through our app "Butler Asia" where you can see our availability and sessions feedback. Refer to our Butler App page for a full explanation of using the app.
Q: What does “Book-as-you-need Basis” mean?
A: Our Use-as-you-need Subscription Package is specifically tailored for individuals who would like Butler’s services on a flexible schedule. We publish all our available slots on the platform and Subscription users could select slots that are suitable for them.
Q: How do I make a payment?
A: All payment methods will be done via Swipe, a payment system that supports all major credit cards. Via our IOS app, you will be directed to the Swipe payment system to complete your secured payment once you submitted your order form. We will also send you an invoice towards the end of each month for any additional charges.
Q: I love your groceries service, but who should I pass my cash to?
A: Butler promotes a cashless ecosystem for the ease of users. We require users who would like to use our groceries service to inject deposit in their account via the app, and we will subtract accordingly each time.
Q: What’s next if I’m interested ?
A: Download our mobile app! You can book your first session and our team will reach out accordingly. As a first time user, we will send one of our butler executives to your home 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled session. The purpose of the consultation is for us to get a detailed understanding of how you want your home to be managed. Our services will then be based on your personalised preferences and requests.
